Here she is! We rolled her through the front door last night and stood her upright and that was about it. The spool was it great shape and didn't require any more than a minor once over with a damp cloth. I think it's so cool, I can't stop stealing little glimpses of it when I pass by the living room. Yes I'm that weird. It was free for crying out loud. You should have seen the look on the nice man's face at the waste transfer station when I told him what I was going to do with it. He said if I hadn't come and gotten it, they would have just put it in the landfill. I told him he's got a cottage industry on his hands! I'm anticipating seeing them at pottery barn in 3, 2, 1...
meanwhile elsewhere around the table...
oh and Lucy wanted to stop by and say "hi!"

ReplyDeleteUmm?
ReplyDeleteA. I want one.
B. I really want one.
C. Hi Lucy! I miss you!
This looks so lovely! It brings just the right amount of rustic charm to the room without being too "grandma", ya know what I mean? Love it!
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! Way to be resourceful. I really love this!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE it! It looks perfect in your living room, too! I especially like the way it looks with the stacks of books and the pumpkin on top. My sister has one on her patio that's painted purple... I always thought it would be a neat item to have. Great find!
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful...do you think you have to have a rustic farmhousey decor theme to have a table like this? I would love if you would come link up to my brand new linky party on Tuesdays @ www.honeybearlane.com!
ReplyDeleteWay cool! So great that you were able to save it from the land fill.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great new table - and free - even better! I love it's character and I think you are on to something with the Pottery Barn thing! Hope your day is great!
