A while back you may recall that I redid our upstairs hall bath with stripes. I knew as soon as I opened the can of yellow paint I hated it. If you really want to see it click here. I went against my instincts and moved forward anyway. Once I was done I just tried with all my might to just love it and own it. Wellllll that only lasted for a couple of months before I got the itch to fix things. The other thing I couldn't stand was how badly my blue tape bled. I still wanted to go with the striped look but this time I used Frog Tape and it was nothing less than a magical experience! It cost $8.99 a roll and it only took one for the whole project. I highly recommend it. I'm thrilled with the paint choice this time- so glad I mustered up the gumption to re-tape and level everything it was totally worth it.
lucy got her very first big girl tooth brush and elephant cup
i will never regret replacing the towel rack with the molding and hooks so much more functional

I LOVE THIS! Beautiful! I am loving stripes lately...they're so fresh and crisp looking...and yours are definitely no exception :) And I'm impressed with how level they are!!

Love the stripes! I never liked the blue painters tape. I stopped taping off years ago because it did more harm than good. It's good to know there is an alternative. Also, you exhaust me with the number of projects you get done. I am going to be a total slacker compared to you when we move!
ReplyDeleteP.S. LOVE the elephant!

ReplyDeleteHi Sarah...
ReplyDeleteOooh...sooo pretty, my friend! I love the stripes in your bath...really lends itself to a "coastal" feel! You know, I have never heard of frog tape! I will definitely keep it in mind for future projects such as this! Thanks for sharing the info with us...and your beautiful bath!
Warmest wishes,
Chari @Happy To Design
Your bath turned out great. I, too, am not a fan of towel bars. I have only 1 in my house, in my guest bath. Your hooks are great. The stripes turned out really nice, and I never heard of that tape either. We have a big paint project ahead of us so I will look for it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
