quick chair cover project results

A few simple supplies.

The whole thing took about 20 minutes from start to finish.

The results are fun and add interest to what use to be plain ole' chair covers. It was super easy. I used Microsoft Word with the stencil font and blew it up 300%. I printed them out on heaver card stock and carefully cut them out with an xacto knife. Next I pulled off the covers one by one then measured and centered the numbers and secured them down with blue painters tape. Lastly I stippled on the white craft paint. (I found that an uneven paint application looks better.) They dried quickly and I was able to put them right back on the chairs. The entire project cost me exactly $0 because I had all of the supplies just lying around the house.
