Timing is everything, and between oil and the housing crisis and the end of print journalism as we know it, now might not be the best time for a high-end "living" magazine. At least that's what the folks at Vogue Living seem to have concluded. WWD is reporting that the Vogue spin-off will not publish a scheduled second issue. A Vogue spokesperson said that "given the current ad climate, this wasn't the time to roll out a second issue," though they are apparently still considering a 2009 issue. -www.mediabistro.com
This was the single best magazine I have ever put my hands on. It sat in my studio for at least six months while I was preparing for my thesis show. Juicy colors filled every page. The interiors featured were all vastly different but all equally appealing. I flipped through it over and over for inspiration until every page was dog eared. Am I the only one to ever come to covet this issue?
is this true?? eek?!
