Good morning! I know I've been a little scarce this week, quite frankly I just didn't have much to say. Been super busy just doing boring life stuff like catching up on laundry after the holiday weekend and hanging out outside a lot with Lucy. 

I do have some of this awesome low-fat banana bread baking in the oven right now. It's pairs so yummy with a morning cup of coffee or my favorite the 3 pm is it time for daddy to come home yet? cup of coffee.  You can find the easy recipe here.

blog anniversary giveaway

My little blog turns the t-w-o today! It almost slipped right by me but it hit me this morning whilst drinking my coffee right before a tiny mouse scurried by and sent the morning into a tail spin. All I can say is I really ♥ my kitty cat for gingerly corralling him and my husband for being quick with the mop bucket. 

ANYWAY in honor of this special day I thought I'd send the very first person to leave a comment one of my favorite aqua ball jars as a thank you for your bloggy world friendship. I had know idea when I got bored one day and created this page it would still be going strong and I would meet so many wonderful people as a result. It's been truly life changing. 

Hope you're all having a great week. We are expecting yet more snow tomorrow so I'm going to cozy in with my little family and work on the pretty new cable knit hat I started to knit today. Love you all! 

friday finds and ball jar winner

Whew! What a week on Etsy, thanks to Jen over at the Cottage Nest! We've been so busy packing up treasures to ship out that the blog suffered slightly. On to the Friday find: This beautiful horned milk glass vase features a pretty scalloped opening at the top perfect for your favourite bouquet. Vase is in excellent condition inside and out with no chips, nicks or cracks. It measures at 9.25'' tall and 5'' in diameter from the opening. I sold one last week and then out of sheer good luck I acquired 2 more this week! Hurry they won't last long.
