When I say this was easy that's an understatement. We have a hall wall near our stair case that needed some love and a while back I was in Hobby Lobby and ran across these stencils. They have the registration marks on the stencil so it makes lining up things so easy. Eventually when I got to the strange angles I just began to cut the stencil down to make the painting easier. The whole process went fairly quickly too- done during that lovely nap hour. I will admit I was a little unsure at first but Nick said he really liked it and had me keep going and I'm so grateful for his encouragement because I love the end result. I used paint we had on hand from another project so the whole thing only cost me the $16.99 for the stencil. I should mention that the wall I stenciled on is stucco textured and the lines aren't all perfect and crisp but I actually really like that about it, to me it helps to soften things a bit not having all of those hard edges. SO if you have a big empty wall you might consider giving this a try!
