Happy November! I can't wait to put away the Halloween and slowly sneak in Christmas. Yeah I said it. You heard me right. I'm hosting Thanksgiving for my parents this year and my goal is to have the house decorated by then. Hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween. Lucy loved her first time officially trick or treating.

On an unrelated note, how fantastically fun is this kitchen?!

She went as Marie from Aristocats.

Have a great day!

We're baking spooky sugar cookies, reading halloweeney type books and working on our pumpkins today. Chili-mac is on the menu for tonight and I've got tons of work to do after Lucy goes to bed. It's a wonderfully productive day!

pinspiration thursday

A quick list of my favorite pins this week!

An ode to Halloween! Lucy will be donning this sweet Audrey costume maybe in a year or two. It's too cute for words! You can purchase one here

I know we still have November but I couldn't resist sharing these cute gingerbread house mug toppers. From a Beautiful Mess.

My new obsession this season= layered leggings, leg warmers and boots!

Want to learn to do a fishtail braid? Check it out here! I still need to work on this, but I love the look.

How beautiful is this kitchen? I love the play between whites and grey-blue.

Hope your days is off to a great start!!! If you want to see more of my Pinterest faves you can check out my complete boards here

Happy Halloween one and all!

(next year I'm totally going to learn how to make these sweet velvet pumpkins! Now I know why the ladies at the pumpkin patch were gathering them up like they were worth their weight in gold!)

spooky season

Thanks for all the cute ideas Martha! The pumpkin cooler is my favorite- how cute and simple is that? I can't wait until baby L is here next year and I can put her in a costume! Only then will I stop torturing my dogs with Halloween outfits.
